The DeKalb County Liners qualified as the league's 2012 Regular Season Champions and pennant winner, and will hold home-field advantage for as long as they remain in the playoffs.  The Liners clinched the top spot with an 8-1 victory over the Chicago Zephyrs on Sunday.

The Northwest Indiana Oilmen qualified as the league's second-place team, and will hold home-field advantage for the Semi-Final Series.  The Oilmen clinched a playoff spot back on July 21st.

The DuPage County Hounds clinched a playoff spot on July 24, and clinched the third seed in the playoffs on July 27.  The Hounds can only obtain home-field advantage in the Championship Series, and only if their opponent is the Southland Vikings.
